A seasoned comedian and performer, Nathan Penlington's first book, The Boy in the Book, is set for release May 22.

Based on his award-winning multimedia show Choose Your Own Documentary, the memoir tells the story of Penlington going on a quest to find out what happened to the author of notes left in a Choose Your Own Adventure book 20 years ago. Penlington's best known for his stage work, which combines spoken word, magic and comedy and includes shows such as If My Life Hadn't Turned Out Differently and Uri & Me, both of which have been performed across the country and taken to the Edinburgh Festival. His live work has already gained a string of rave reviews from critics, and the buzz surrounding The Boy in the Book shows that his memoir's set to do the same.
